SPI Management provides professional representation, publishing support, and long-term career development for independent authors who are ready to build a business.
Now accepting founding members. Limited spots at pre-founding rates.
SPI is not a publisher, not an editing house, and not an assistant. We are your management team. Here's what we believe:
Every word you write remains yours. No exceptions, no clauses, no fine print.
Publishing accounts stay in your name. We manage them on your behalf, never in our name.
Revenue flows directly to you. We charge a management fee, not a cut of your earnings.
We provide strategy, systems, and support. You make the decisions. Always.
Scalable representation that meets you where you are and builds toward where you want to be.
Book Development. One manuscript, full publishing support.
Ideal for first-time publishers
Author Management. Ongoing career support and creative deliverables.
Most popular for growing authors

Active management begins. Your career now has a professional team behind it.
Every SPI client gets infrastructure most indie authors never build for themselves.
No. We don't publish your books. We manage the business behind them: project management, vendor coordination, marketing, launches, and career strategy. You publish under your own accounts.
100%. SPI charges a flat management fee, not a percentage of your book earnings. Your royalties are yours.
We work with fiction and non-fiction indie authors across all genres. Our sweet spot is romance, fantasy, thriller, and contemporary fiction, but we're open to the right fit in any genre.
Not necessarily. Studio requires a manuscript in progress. Collective and Partner clients may be managing existing catalogs or planning future releases. We'll discuss fit on your discovery call.
Studio is project-based (one book). Collective has a 3-month minimum, Partner has a 6-month minimum. After that, it's month-to-month.
Our current pre-founding rates are locked in for founding members as long as they maintain continuous service. When we raise prices, you keep your original rate.
Absolutely. Many authors start with Studio for their first book, then upgrade to Collective once they want ongoing management. You can move up anytime.
Applications are open. Founding member spots are limited. Let's build your author business together.
